OMAHA, Neb. – Maddie Harbour of Davenport, Iowa, has signed her letter of intent to continue her education and golf career at the College of Saint Mary.
The daughter of Vicky Danielson and Terry Harbour signed with the Flames Friday and will join the Flames in the fall. She is currently a senior at North Scott High School.
Harbour has golfed at North Scott all four years and participated in bowling for two years. She's also been involved in band, jazz band, choir, jazz choir, Lancer Productions and speech team. She took second place in the MAC Tournament in 2014 and says her greatest sports moment to date is when she got her first birdie her junior year and then went on to birdie the next hole too.
She considers Jordan Spieth her favorite sports hero.
Harbour plans to study business at College of Saint Mary.
"I liked the smaller size of the college and was drawn to the athletic department," she said.
CSM Golf Coach Keri Rodriguez is looking forward to adding Harbour to her team.
"Madison will make a great addition to the Flames golf team," Rodriguez said. "She has been working hard to lower her scores. I'm excited to see what she can bring in the fall."
