Flames dancers set for GPAC Championships

OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary competitive dance team is ready to compete on Saturday in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Cheer and Dance Championships in Orange City, Iowa.

Northwestern College is the host school, and the event will be held inside the Bultman Center. It can be live streamed for free at this link: GPAC Network.

CSM is scheduled to compete in the prelims at 10:10 a.m. The finals will start at 12:30 p.m., and the order will be based on preliminary scores.

Competing for the Flames will be Hannah Elliott, Evelyn Andrade, Elizabeth Kenny, Delainey Benedict, Grace Denning, Haley Engleman, Ellie Frederick, Kelsey Beles, Millie Johnson and Kaylie Kuehn. It will be the last competition for Elliott and Andrade.

The event is also an automatic qualifier for the NAIA Cheer and Dance National Championships, set for March 27 and 28 in Topeka, Kan. Following the finals will be the GPAC Dance All-Conference Presentation and Awards Ceremony.
