Madelyn Gaughen, Porter named honorable mention All-GPAC

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Madelyn Gaughen and Jai'La Porter of College of Saint Mary have been named to the honorable mention list on the All-Great Plains Athletic Conference basketball teams for 2025-26.

Gaughen, a 5-foot-9 senior from Cedar Bluffs, Neb., led the Flames in scoring (14.4), minutes (37.0) and steals (1.5), and was second in assists (2.4), rebounds (5.3) and field-goal percentage (40.4).

Porter, a 5-6 junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., led the Flames in rebounds (7.0), assists (2.6) and field-goal percentage (44.5), and was second in scoring (12.1), steals (1.3), free-throw percentage (74.0) and minutes (31.2).

Macy Sievers of Dordt University has been selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports Player of the Year for the second straight year and headlines the All-GPAC teams.

Other GPAC honorees for 2025-26 include: Defensive Player of the Year Avery Broughton from Dakota Wesleyan; Freshman of the Year Abby Lee of Briar Cliff; and Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach of the Year Bill Harmsen from Dordt.

The All-GPAC Basketball Teams and honors are selected by the league's 12 head coaches.
