Small signs with CSM bowling program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to announce that Brynn Small has signed to continue her bowling career with the school in the 2026-27 academic year.
Small is a senior at Ottumwa High School in Ottumwa, Iowa. She's the daughter of Levi Frueh and Erin Small.
CSM Coach Corrinne Johnson believes Small will be a great addition to her program.
"I'm excited for Brynn to join the team this fall!'' she said. "Her dedication and hard work, on and off the lanes, will be a great asset to the program. I look forward to seeing her excel at the collegiate level.''
Small was an individual state qualifier in her senior year at Ottumwa, and a member of the team qualifier as a junior and senior. She also played golf for three years.
A relative newcomer to the sport, she said her greatest sports moment to date was qualifying individually for state after bowling for just two years.
Small said her visit convinced her that CSM was the right place to continue her academic and athletic career.
"The environment at the campus and at the bowling alley was very welcoming and encouraging!'' she said. "Everyone was kind and helped with any questions that I had, to make my choice even easier.''
