CSM’s Estrada Gomez, Brown sweep GPAC Player of the Week honors
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – College of Saint Mary made a clean sweep of the Great Plains Athletic Conference/Hauff Mid-America Sports Player of the Week honors for women's soccer.
Jimena Estrada Gomez has been named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week, and Jenna Brown has been named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. The duo earned the awards for their play during the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
Women's Offense – Jimena Estrada Gomez, College of Saint Mary (Midfielder)
Jimena Estrada Gomez, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, registered her first hat trick of the season and second of her career in a 3-1 victory over Mount Marty. The win helped the Flames earn the No. 7 seed for the GPAC tournament.
Women's Defense – Jenna Brown, College of Saint Mary (Keeper)
Jenna Brown, a junior from Omaha, Nebraska, made 10 saves in a 3-1 victory over Mount Marty last week. Brown ranks third in the GPAC with 102 saves on the season. This is the second time she has won the defensive award this season.
