Ramirez signs with Flames for soccer

OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to announce that Ashley Ramirez has signed to continue her soccer career with the school in the 2026-27 academic year.

Ramirez is a recent graduate of Bellevue West High School. She is the daughter of Enrique and Joann Ramirez.

CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill likes what Ramirez is bringing to the program.

"Ashley is an amazing talent who we are super excited to add to our squad,'' he said. "She can play in multiple positions across the back line. Ashley is an extremely hard-working player who is gritty and not afraid to get stuck into challenges.''

Ramirez was a key contributor on a Bellevue West team that captured back-to-back Metro Conference soccer championships. She considers that achievement her greatest sports moment to date. She was an honorable-mention all-state selection after her junior year.

In her free time, Ramirez enjoys walking and listening to music.

She picked CSM for a variety of strong reasons.

"It was a great environment, a great group of girls, great coaches and an opportunity to continue to play the sport I love while studying a career (nursing) I've dreamed of,'' she said.
