CSM six set for NAIA outdoor nationals

OMAHA, Neb. – Six student-athletes will represent College of Saint Mary on Wednesday and Thursday at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Asheville, N.C.

The 45th-annual event will be held on the Karl Straus Track, and the host school is UNC Asheville. You can watch the entire event online for free at naianetwork.com.

CSM has qualified ninth in the 4 x 800-meter relay, with Carly Henderson, Corinne Mead, Kara Muller and Olivia Elbert running a season-best and program-record time of 9:12.36. Three of the four athletes competed last year in the event, placing 12th.

Imani Skanes has qualified in two events. She's the third-leading qualifier in the long jump with a season-best of 6.12 meters (20 feet, 1 inch). Skanes won the national championship in that event during the indoor season. She also has qualified 17th in the triple jump, with a season-best of 11.84 (38-10¼).

Allison Isaacson joins Skanes in the triple jump. She qualified 16th after a season-best and program-record leap of 11.85 (38-10½).

The prelims and final of the long jump will be at 1 p.m. Central on Wednesday, while the 4 x 800 relay prelims are set for 5:15 p.m. Central on Wednesday. The triple jump prelims and final will be at 3:30 p.m. Central on Thursday.
