Born March 27, 1991 in Colorado Springs, Colo....daughter of Scott and Susan Zaruba…has one brother, Thomas…majoring in Biology/Pre-Physician Assistant.
2011-12 (Junior @ UNO)
Appeared in 15 games, averaging 1.1 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in 6.7 minutes per game...hit 5-of-6 free throws for an 83.3 percentage...scored a season-high eight points at Saint Louis on Jan. 3...recorded a season-high seven rebounds against York and Dallas Christian.
2010-11 (Sophomore @ UNO)
Started all 26 games for the Mavericks in her second season, averaging 25.3 minutes per game...also averaged 8.7 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, 1.1 assists per game and 1.0 steals per game...hit 92-of-208 field goals for a 44.2 percent average, the best on the team...scored a career-high 24 points vs. Lincoln on Dec. 18, hitting a career-high 11 field goals...scored in double-figures nine times on the season... named to the 2010-11 MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2009-10 (Freshman @ UNO)
Appeared in all 27 games as a freshman, starting in 24 and averaging 25.9 minutes per game…also averaged 6.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest…achieved career highs of 16 points and four steals, along with 7-for-12 shooting, against Oklahoma Panhandle State on Nov. 27…recorded two steals and 10 points against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Nov. 21…poured in a career-best three 3-pointers at Missouri Western (Feb. 10) and against Southwest Baptist (Feb. 20)...added four assists at Missouri Western for a career mark…scored in double figures in four games…pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds against Missouri Western on Jan. 2…hit a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line at Emporia State on Feb. 6…named to the 2009-10 MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
At Norfolk Catholic High School
Three-year letterwinner at Norfolk Catholic High School…team won the C-1 state basketball championship her junior year…named first-team all-state and second-team all-Nebraska her junior year…suffered a season-ending knee injury at the beginning of her senior season…also lettered three years in volleyball and track and field…named all-state honorable mention in volleyball…placed fourth in the triple jump at the state track meet as a junior.
