Green becomes three-time All-GPAC selection
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Three volleyball players from the College of Saint Mary have earned postseason recognition from the Great Plains Athletic Conference for their play during the 2025 season.
Azaria Green, a 6-foot junior middle from Council Bluffs, Iowa, who played at Abraham Lincoln High School, picked up second-team All-GPAC honors. This marks the third straight season Green has been on an All-GPAC first or second team. Green led the Flames in hitting percentage (.285) and blocks per set (0.94), and ranked third in kills per set (2.33).
Elen Pruett, a 5-5 junior libero from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, who played at Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School, made the honorable mention list for a second straight year. Pruett led the Flames in digs per set (4.33) and aces (35), and ranked third in assists (76).
Madalyn Welp, a 6-1 junior right side hitter from Sioux City, Iowa, who played at East High School, also was an honorable mention selection. Welp ranked second on the team in kills per set (2.38) and kill efficiency (.202).
Stella Winterfeld from Northwestern College was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player of the Year, and Kyle Van Den Bosch from Northwestern was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach-of-the-Year. Northwestern won the regular season championship with a 16-0 conference record.
The All-GPAC teams were selected by the league coaches.
